'Mildred Alma Johnson was born in Wayne County on September 7th, 1927 to the late Ellis and Etta Martin Bell, and passed away Monday afternoon at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, reaching the age of eighty seven years.

She united in marriage with Bill Johnson, who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Thelma Emmajane and her sister, Stella Mae Allen.

She is survived by her nieces, Brenda Branscum, Debra Whitehead and her nephews, Joey, Danny and Jeff Allen.

Mildred had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Canada Creek Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended as her health permitted.
