'Minnie (Koger) Jones, 101 years of age, passed away comfortably at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky the evening of April 25, 2017. Minnie resided in Monticello, Kentucky until seven years ago when she moved to a senior care facility in Louisville. Minnie was the third youngest child of Elijah and Polly Koger of Monticello, KY and out lived all her brothers and sisters.

Minnie was married to the late W. Howard Jones and is survived by her two sons, H. Milton (Joan) Jones of Tyler, TX. and Thomas R. Jones of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Ben Jones, Emily Jones Angilella, Lisa Jones, Brent Jones, and Karen Jones Morrison, and 6 great grandchildren, Will and Luke Jones, Collin and Clare Gwin, and Sophia and Dominic Angilella.

Minnie was best known for selling tickets and working at the only town theater in the 1940\u0027s and 1950\u0027s. In her later years she was an active member of the Women\u0027s club and did a variety of volunteer work. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monticello and the family request donations be made to the church in lieu of flowers.
