'Moie Stinson, age 85 was born September 9, 1926 in the Slickford community of Wayne County the son of the late Lesco and Dora McGinnis Stinson. He passed away, Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Somerwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Somerset.

Moie is survived by his wife: Margie Louise Stinson; his children: Dennis and his wife Judy Stinson and Joan Chriswell and the late Luther Stinson, grandchildren: Troy (Angie) Stinson, Shawn (Rachel) Stinson and Kristi (Allan) Bowlin, Great Grandchildren: Kelby; Addison and Riley Stinson and Mariah Bowlin and his brother: Onzie Stinson.

He is preceded in death by his siblings: Dewey, Lynard and Lawrence Stinson and Gather Piercy.

Moie had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the New Town Baptist Church.
