Obituary
'Montie Ray Guffey was born October 20th, 1934 the son of the late Henry and Fleetwood Burris Guffey and departed this life Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.
He was united in marriage with Irene Rains Guffey who survives. To this 62 year union two sons survive: Ronnie and Dennis Guffey.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Chad Ray, Kyle Wayne, Brent, Paige and Amber; great grandchildren: Koby Ray, Nathan Dean, McKenzie Renee\u0027, Kyler, Zack and Zoie; five sisters: Evelyn Hurt, Betty Rains, Doris Tucker, Gladys Story and Elsie Hicks.
Montie is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Peggy Guffey and siblings: Reba Blackburn, Lucy Guffey, Bradley and Cecil Guffey.
He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Bethel Bible Church.
