'Myrtie Bell Watson Daniels was born on August 15th, 1922 and entered into rest April 20th, 2013, reaching the age of 90. She was the daughter of the late A.A. and Ada Winningham Watson.
Myrtie gave her life to Christ and was a member of Sandusky Baptist Church for many years before joining New Salem Baptist. At the time of her passing, she was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she attended faithfully as long as her health allowed.
She was united in marriage to Less Daniels on March 18th , 1938. They were blessed with two children, James Herbert Daniels and Anna Ruth Daniels Keeton; two grandchildren, Jim Daniels and Liz Daniels McClain; three great-grandchildren, Montana, Leslie, and Hunter Daniels; a daughter-in-law, Lela Parmley Daniels; a son-in-law, James Keeton; a granddaughter-in-law, Vicki Daniels; and grandson-in-law, Scott McClain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Less; son-in-law, James; her sisters, Laura, Lizzie, and Bessie; and her brothers, Elbert and Shell.
She is survived by sisters Lela Lewis and Stella Sexton and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Myrtie loved people and always had a smile. She was devoted to her family and was always showing love to them. She loved to work and continued to go to her store well into her 90th year here on Earth. She loved all of her customers and looked forward to seeing each one.
Myrtie leaves a legacy of love and hard work. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. However, we can all take solace in the fact that today she is walking the streets of gold and smiling for Jesus.
