Nancy Perkins was born July 9, 1949, and departed this life Friday, June 26, 2026, reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Shell and Ermie (Slagle) Edwards.

She married Warren Michael “Mike” Perkins on March 18, 1967 and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Hope Myers (Tim Evans), Mack Perkins (Adrielle), and Dion Perkins (Lorna); grandchildren, Lincoln Myers (July), Kellen Myers (David) Maverick Perkins, Zuzu Perkins, and Laszlo Perkins; and one brother, Bobby Edwards (Helen); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Shell and Ermie Edwards, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Mike Perkins; siblings, Phyllis Cowan (James), Wanda Lyons (Bobby), Dora Lee Edwards, and Johnny Edwards (Velda).

Nancy was a member of London First Baptist Church for 27 years; she was also a member of Hopkinsville First Baptist Church, and Monticello First Baptist Church. She was organist at Sandusky Baptist Church for 20 plus years. She was very passionate about her shoe drive and shoebox ministry; which she proudly organized for a number of years.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July1, 2026,m at 11 am at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
