­­­­­­­­Nolar Elizabeth Turpin was born July 13, 1946, and departed for her heavenly home, Monday, September 9, 2025, in Monticello, KY, reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Grady Brown and Donnie (Bell) Brown.

She is survived by her husband: Rodney Wayne Turpin; Children: James Turpin, Rhonda Crabtree, Crystal Lewellen, Willian Turpin and Lee Turpin; Grandchildren: Michael Rose, Shanna Rose, Dustin Gregory, Ben Turpin, Joshua Dishman and Shaylee Dishman; Great Grand-children: Lakelee Wesley, Rowen Welsey, Jaxson Ashley, Tatum Ashley, Mason Ashley, Jace Rose, Aleah Smith, Kade Smith, Hazel Smith, Emery Ashley, Harper Rose, Seth Rose, Jaxs Rose and Colta Gregory; Sibling: Kathlin Wise. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing

In addition to her parents Grady and Donnie Brown; she was preceded in death by her Siblings: Leon Brown, Bettie, Margaret and Alvin Brown.

Nolar was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 5 PM – 8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11 AM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Turpin Family Cemetery.
