'Nora Jane Stinson Hancock, age 60 was born October 31, 1950 the daughter of the late Estil Stinson and Dosha Catron Stinson who survives. She passed away Sunday morning, June 5th, 2011 at the Wayne County Hospital surrounded by her attentive family.

On December 13, 1969 she united in marriage with Edwin Lee Hancock, who survives. To this 41 year union two children survive: Rhonda and her husband Jonathan Ramsey and Ronnie Hancock.

Also surviving are three grandchildren: LeAnn, Ridge and Riley: her sister, Faye and her husband Hobert Brown and two brothers: Clyde and his wife Nina Stinson and Clay and his wife Emogene Stinson.

Nora Jane had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a faithful member of the Chestnut Grove United Baptist Church at the time of her passing. She was employed by the Wayne County Board of Education for 17 years.
