Norma Sue Burris' Obituary
'Norma Sue Burris Raines, was born February 17, 1946 the daughter of the late Roy P. and Lucille Choate Burris. She passed away Friday, June 7th at the Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, reaching an age of 73 years.
She is survived by three daughters: Stacey and her husband Donovan Corder, Kendra and husband Clark Jarnagin and Kentessa and her husband Alex Birner. Also surviving are grandchildren: Caitlin and Morgan Corder, Cayden and Lance Jarnagin and Adeline Birner, her grandson Everett Birner precedes her in death.
Also surviving are her siblings: Ruth Pickett, Don and wife Margaret Burris and Bob and wife Linda Burris. Her brother in law Doyle Pickett precedes her in death.
Norma worked for many years as a hairdresser and was later employed at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and the Mill Springs Battleground Museum. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Ringgold Methodist Church at the time of her passing.
