Obituary
'Norma Jean Guffey Rains, age 40 was born in Clinton County, November 17, 1966 the daughter of Delmer Guffey Jr and Dorothy Cross both of Albany. She passed away, Wednesday evening, June 13th, at the Baptist Northeast Hospice Unit in LaGrange, Kentucky.
September 11, 1982 she united in marriage with her husband, Jimmy Ray Rains of the Alpha community. To this union one son survives, Charles Rains.
Survivors include her parents, her sister, Sue DeRossett and brother, Frankie Guffey with other relatives and many friend to mourn her passing.
Norma Jean had accepted Christ as her Savior and attended the Gap Creek Baptist Church.
