'Norman Ira McGuire, age 76 was born January 8, 1935 the daughter of the late Powers and Lessie Boston McGuire and departed this life, Tuesday, May 17th at the Wayne County Hospital.He is preceded in death his wife, Thelma Ester Dean McGuire who passed away, January 3, 2009.Surviving are his children: Wanda Odem, Loretta Peercy, Charlene Albertson, Reberta Carrender, Homer, Ralph and Doug McGuire. His daughter, Norman Jean McGuire precedes him in death.Also surviving are nine children, ten grandchildren: His sisters; Elsie Mains, Thelma Dodson, Helen Coomer and Audrey Isner: brothers; Vescoe and Earl McGuire: with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.He is also preceded in death by his sister; Mary Russell and brother, Willie McGuire.Norman had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Piney Wood Missionary Church.
