'Ollie Mae Maxwell Koger, age 92 was born in Wayne County, July 24, 1918 the daughter of the late George and Laura Powell Maxwell. She departed this life, Wednesday, May 4th at the Wayne County Hospital after an extended illness.

On February 7, 1934 she united in marriage with Clyde D. Koger who passed away April 15, 1994. To this union three children survive: Glenna Haynes and Russell Koger both of Monticello and Jack Koger of Coconut Creek, Florida. Two sons, Donald Ray and John Koger passed away as infants.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Jacqueline Soard, Kamala Koger, Ricky Koger, Scott Koger, Samantha Koger and Greg Koger; her grandson, Kenneth Haynes precedes her in death. Surviving are eight great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild

Mrs. Koger was the last surviving member of the George and Laura Maxwell family.

She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
