Obituary
'Omer William Morrow, age 83 was born January 27, 1932 in the Big Sinking community of Wayne County, the son of Kaizer and Susie Dick Morrow. He passed away Saturday night, October 3, 2015 at the Wayne County Hospital.
On January 5, 1958 he united in marriage with Lou Christeen Foister Morrow, who survives. To this union two children survive: Rodney and his wife Virginia Morrow of Monticello and Cynthia and her husband Mike Pettit.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: Wesley and Tyler Morrow, Marlee and Maggie Pettit; great grandchildren: Ashton and Aiden Morrow and Eric Tucker. Surviving is his sister, Eva Branscum and brother, Denver Morrow.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Lilly Turner, Nellie Halcomb, Vena Lovell and Carl Morrow.
Omer served his country with honor during the Korean War in the Marines and was retired from pipeline construction. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church.
