'Oreda Tucker was born January 30th, 1929 in Wayne County to the late Marvin and Dina Clark Tucker and passed away Saturday afternoon at her home reaching the age of eighty-eight years.
On August 27th, 1949 she united in marriage to Oscar Tucker, whom passed away January 4th, 2013, and to this union four children survive: Glenna and her husband Perry Mansfield, Kenneth and his wife Alice Tucker, Arlin and his wife Helen Tucker and Floyd and his wife Loretta Tucker. She is also survived by her sisters: Mary Simpson, Cennie Tucker, Cloie Tucker, Lucy Tucker, Elva Holycross and her brother: James Tucker along with her eight grandchildren: Leslie Tucker, Anita White, Lowell Tucker, Jason Tucker, Dewayne Mansfield, Casey Mansfield, Brittany Tucker and Staci McGaw along with fifteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sisters: Bertha Southwood, Rosie Correll and Julie Tucker and her brothers: Ulis and Marcus Tucker and her granddaughter: Deloris Mansfield.
Oreda had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the New Town Baptist Church.',
