'Oscar Tucker was born March 8th, 1928 to the late Charlie and Leiza Morrow Tucker and passed away at his home Friday, January 4th reaching the age of eighty-four years.
On August 27th, 1949 he united in marriage with Oreda Tucker, who survives, and to this union Oscar is survived by his four children: Glenna Mansfield and husband Perry, Kenneth and wife Alice, Arlin and wife Helen and Floyd and his wife Loretta. Oscar is also survived by his three sisters; Cloma Tucker, Clara Tucker and Zona Detmering and his two brothers; Ernest and Lawrence Tucker along with his grandchildren; Leslie, Anita, Lowell, Jason, Dewayne, Casey, Brittany and Staci and also his twelve great-grandchildren, along with his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his infant brother, his brothers; George, Robert, Delbert and Arnold Tucker and his granddaughter Deloris Mansfield.
Oscar retired from Kingsford Charcoal Plant serving as Chief Union Stewart for over four years. He enjoyed working in his garden and raising vegetables.
Oscar had accepted Christ as his Savior many years ago at the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church and was now a member of the Newtown Baptist Church.
He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends that loved him so much.
