Paul Ray Gossage was born in the Parnell Community of Wayne County, Kentucky, on December 27, 1938, and departed this walk of life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, reaching the age of 87 years. He was the beloved son of the late Frilba Gossage and Roxie (Walker) Gossage.

He is survived by his loving wife Helen Gossage; Daughters: Vickie Pyles, Rhonda Cole (Jeff) and Betsy Chadwick (Eric); Grandchildren: Tyler Cole and Matthew Cole; Great Grandchildren: Tyton, Tucker, Taytum and Makaylee Cole; Siblings: Jimmy Gossage, Ronald Gossage, Verdina Bilbrey and Vanda Guffey. As well as many family members and friends who will cherish his memory and mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frilba and Roxie (Walker) Gossage; Son-in-law: Ray Pyles; Siblings: Richard Gossage, Donald Gossage, Obie Gossage and Mary-Gladys Heinzl.

Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
