'Peggy Ann Perkins Baker, age 75, of Monticello, KY wife of William Francis \u0027Bill\u0027 Baker departed this life Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY after a long illness. Peggy was born on December 27, 1939 to Mack and Vena Burks Perkins who both precede her in death.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Bill Baker; two sons: Audie Kay Barrier (Stacy) and William Parrish Baker (Gina) and daughter, Crystal Baker all of Monticello and her daughter, Bobbie Unell \u0027Nellie\u0027 Barrier Conkel (Mike) of Roseville, Michigan.
Also surviving are her five grandchildren: Marda Barrier of Lexington, Jonathan Perkins of Roseville, Autumn Bell Ashley (Kyle) of Ohio, Alia Barrier Vaughn (Dylan) and Joseph Arron Barrier of Monticello. Peggy is also survived by three sisters: Joann Brown, Linda Baker (Kenneth), Mitzi Smith (Gary) and four brothers: Roger Perkins (Katy), Rocky Perkins (Arlene) and Forrest Perkins all of Monticello and Michael Perkins (Nancy) of London along with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Cody Bell and her brother, Anson Perkins.
Peggy worked as a supervisor at Larand Leisurely\u0027s factory, at Lay\u0027s Department Store and retired as manager of the Monticello Dollar General Store. She was a member of the Sandusky Chapel Baptist Church and attended the Gap Creek Baptist Church.
