'Perry Roy Ramsey was born September 13, 1949 the son of the late Roy and Edna Guffey Ramsey. He departed this life Monday afternoon, May 22, at his home in the Susie community reaching an age of 67 years.

On October 12, 1973 he united in marriage with his surviving wife of 43 years, Anna Jane Dishman Ramsey. Surviving are his children: Perry Wayne (Barbara) Ramsey, Brandon Roy (Mary) Ramsey, Joanie Lynn (Derrick) Dishman and Randy Clark.

Also surviving are his siblings Linda Atkinson, Wanda Barber, Geraldine Guffey, Tommy Joe Ramsey and Ricky Ramsey; grandchildren: Payton, Savanah, Amelia, Kaiden and Lilly Ramsey, Alexis Dishman and Alissa Clark and his great grandchild, Rosalea Clark.

Perry served his community as a rural mail carrier and served his Lord as a member of the Davis Chapel United Methodist Church.
