'Phyllis Jean Bell Alexander, age 85 was born in Monticello, October 1, 1927 the daughter of the late George and Effie Keeton Bell. She departed this life Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
She was united in marriage with her husband of 62 years: James Ellis Alexander who passed away May 4, 2011. Surviving this union is her son: Thomas Alexander and her sister: Emma Vogler.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Lelia Hopper; Neva Fields and Delia Barnes.

A Memorial Service will be 11AM Thursday in the Funeral Home
