Phyllis Jean Boatman of Monticello, Kentucky was born August 27, 1946 and departed this life Saturday, July 8th, 2023 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marie Doss Abner.

She is survived by three brothers; Kenneth (Lisa) Abner, Raymond Lloyd Abner, and Eddie Abner, one sister: Mary Denney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her companion; Carson Denney, sister; Jimmie Groce, nephews; Jeffery Abner and Dusty Abner, niece; Sara Denney, sister-in-law; Donna Abner, brother-in-law; George Haskell Denney, and great niece; Alexxandrya Hudson.

Phyllis had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago. She loved sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden and shopping.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13th from 11AM until 1PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 1PM. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
