Obituary
'Phyllis Alpha Correll age 72 was born in Wayne County February 27, 1941 the daughter of the late Earl and Mallie Morrow Hammond. She passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at her home.
She is survived by her husband Manuel Correll and two daughters: Audrey and husband Larry Rose and Rhonda and husband Lucian Tucker. She is preceded in death by her daughter: Lisa Branscum.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two sister: Ellen Sears and Betty West with several other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by her sister: Grace Lee Hammond and brothers: Charles and Noble Hammond.
Alpha had accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of the Zion Baptist Church and attended the Fall Creek Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.

11 AM to 2 PM Monday, February 3, 2014

2 PM Monday in the Funeral Home Chapel
