Obituary
'Phyllis Vire Higgonbotham 67 passed away March 26, 2010 at Golden Age Nursing Home after a 23 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born November 12, 1942 in Monticello KY to the Late Clarence and Virginia Vire. After moving to Mississippi in the early sixties, she married the late James Phillip Higginbotham, also formerly of Monticello, KY and lived the majority of her life in Belzoni. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Belzoni. Phyllis was a devout Christian, and loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brother Dr Gordon Vire of Columbia TN. She is survived by her sisters Marilynn Morgan of Bronston KY and Anita Burch of Nashville TN, and daughter Kim Simcox of Greenwood MS a Son Phil Higginbotham of Yazoo City MS, and 7 Grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00Pm Monday March 29, 2010 at the Hickey and Sons Funeral Home in Monticello KY. Visitation will be 12:00Pm till 2:00Pm at the Hickey and Sons Funeral Home on Monday March 29, 2010
