Phyllis (Koontz) Neely was born May 27, 1945 and departed this life Thursday, April 23, 2020 reaching the age of 74 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Delbie and Dora (Barnes) Koontz.

She is survived by: 1 daughter, Shanna (Kostas) Tsimerakis; 3 siblings, Hazel Dick, Gary Koontz and Gwendolyn Morrow; 2 grandchildren, Xanthe Dora Tsimerakis and Georgios Billy Tsimerakis; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: longtime companion, Frank Schwer; Shanna's father, Billy Neely; 3 brothers, Edward, Jimmy and Benton Koontz; and 4 sisters, Earlene Barnett, Lorene Barnett, Cleo Coffey and Debra Koontz.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, and upon recommendations from the CDC for Funeral Homes, a PRIVATE funeral service will be held for Phyllis Neely.
