Phyllis J. Smith of Monticello, Kentucky was born June 01,1942 and departed this life Sunday, March 26, 2023 reaching the age of 80 years. She was the wife of Rondle Smith and the daughter of the late Kelley and Bonnie Bertram Denney.

Along with her husband, she is survived by one daughter; Theresa (Martin) Osorio, one brother; Eugene Denney, and one grandchild; Cody Osorio.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; Margie Stinson and Lois Hancock.

Phyllis had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Zion Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29 ^th from 5PM until 8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 30 ^th at 11AM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
