Ramona Joan Sowers of Monticello, Kentucky was born February 16 ^th, 1951 and passed peacefully in the early morning hours of March 5 ^th at her home.

She is the wife of Eugene Sowers and the daughter of the late Samuel Huston and Ruth Kindred Meade.

Along with her husband Eugene, she is survived by two daughters; Janette Beard, Angela (David) Gregory, two brothers; Samuel Meade, Jon (Carolyn) Meade, four grandchildren; Kesa Quillen, Kailyn DeBoer, Taylor Beard, Cole Beard, and two great grandchildren; Emberlyn Quillen, and Arabella Quillen.

She is preceded in death by one sister; Rona Randall, one brother-in- law; Bernard Randall, and one brother; Stanley Meade.

Ramona had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Caring for her family was what she excelled at. It truly was her passion. She was the foundation of our family through and through.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10 ^th from 10:30AM until 11:30AM in the funeral home chapel. A graveside funeral service will follow at 1PM at Parlor Grove Cemetery in Lincoln County.
