Randy Jones, age 66 was born in the Ritner community of Wayne County, March 13, 1956, the son of the late Marvin and Opal (Corder) Jones. He departed this life Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

He is survived by stepson; Daron Berry, stepdaughter; Brandi Berry, two brothers, Gary and George Jones; Sisters, Violet McCarson, Linda Dishman, Lyla Bryan, Candice Cairnes and Elizabeth Miller; special step-grandson, Tyler Rains; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepdaughter; Heidi Berry, sisters; Doris Johnson and Josephine Mann, and his brother, Gene Jones.

Randy had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a lifetime member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  A visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, between 12 pm and 1 pm until the funeral service time at 1 pm at the Rock Springs Baptist Church in McCreary County with burial to follow.
