'Regina Blanche Burke Muse, was born in the Cumberland Ridge community of Wayne County the daughter of the late Francis Marion and Flora Dortha Brown Burke. She departed this life Saturday September 13, 2014 at her home in the Frazer community reaching an age of 89 years.

In December of 1944 she united in marriage with Clifford James Muse who passed away September 3, 2002. To this union three sons survive: Ronnie, Gary and Larry Muse; six grandchildren: Heather, Danielle, J.L., Kristen, Kimberly and Raquel; step grandchildren: Brandy and Bud; great grandchildren: Caleb, Jocelyn, Dagen, Sarah, Sydney, Sophe, Maddie, Aliyah and Ethan. Her granddaughter: Anna precedes her in death.

Also surviving are her sisters; Frances Ramsey and Edna Burke with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will mourn her passing. Her sister: Mabel Smith precedes her in death.

As a young woman she had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a faithful member of the New Salem Baptist Church.
