Obituary
'Rena Pearl Jordan Shelton, age 88 was born April 27, 1927 in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robert and Margie Moss Jordan. She departed this life, Sunday evening, November 15th at her home in the Mercer Addition.
On June 1, 1946 she united in marriage with Bro. George Shelton who survives. To this 69 year union one daughter survives, Eleanor and her husband Barry Reynolds of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Rena was the last surviving member of the Robert Jordan family; she is preceded in death by her siblings: Zenith Grey, Mildred Bray and WA Jordan.
Rena was retired from Carhart Manufacturing and work several years as a greeter at Walmart. As a young lady she accepted Christ as her Savior. She served her lord as a faithful, supportive pastor\u0027s wife and was a faithful member of the Monticello First Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
Visitation:
Wednesday from 5 to 8PM at the Funeral Home, Thursday from 9 to 11 at the Church
Funeral:
11AM Thursday in the Sactuary of the First Baptist Church
Interment:
