Rex Scott Coffey age 50 of Monticello, Ky passed away Sunday, April 25 ^th, 2021 at his residence.

He was born December 30 ^th , 1970 in Wayne County, Ky the son of Raymond and Wilma Eaton Coffey.

Along with his parents he is survived by two sons; Jarrod and Gavin Coffey, one stepdaughter; Rebecca Coffey, four brothers; Michael, Barry, Jerry, and Darrell Coffey, five sisters; Sandy (Howard) Jones, Connie (Doug) Vitatoe, Marlene Coffey, Sylvia Burke, and Linda Coffey.

Scott had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 28 ^th , 2021 from 12 PM until 2 PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28 ^th , 2021 at 2 PM in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Kasie Malone, officiating.  Burial will be in  Old Sandusky Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Gideon Bible Fund.
