Obituary
'Richard Donald Powels, age 85 was born April 1, 1926 the son of the late Leon and Ethel Grace Thomas Powels. He passed away Wednesday evening at his home in the Oil Valley community.
He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Jo Hammond Powels; his daughter: Tamara Grace Hutchinson and sons: Robert; Rick and Michael Powels.
His only brother: Thomas Powels precedes him in death.
Mr. Powel worked many years as a police officer and later in life was employed in automobile sales. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

2:30PM Monday Graveside

Mill Springs National Cemetery.',
