'Ricky Joe Barnett, age 48 was born July 23, 1965 in Wayne County the son of Stella Barnett who survives. He passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at his home on North Wilhite Street.
On October 17, 1995 he united in marriage with his spouse of 17 years, Brenda Harmon Barnett. Surviving are his sons: Valis and his wife Heather Smedley, Tony and his wife Rachael Smedley, James Robert Barnett and Terry Randall Barnett. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Charlie, Hayden, Kyla and Brooklyn and siblings: Michael, Leslie and Kevin Barnett.
He is preceded in death by his sister: Lora Barnett and an infant brother: Terry Barnett.
