Ricky Phipps of Monticello, Kentucky was born November 3rd,1957 and departed this life Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of Helen Koger Phipps and the late Herman Phipps.

Along with his mother, he is survived by one sister; Brenda Cash, one nephew; Casey (Makayla) Cash, and one great nephew; Carter Austin Cash.

He was preceded in death by his father; Herman Phipps.

Ricky had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was a long-time member of the Wayne County Sportsman Club and a hunters education instructor for Wayne County for many years.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12th from 5PM until 8PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 13th at 10AM. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
