­­­­­­­­­­Ritamay Jennings Clampit was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 19, 1938, and departed this walk of life on Monday, August 4, 2026, reaching the age of 88 years. She was the cherished daughter of the late Robert G. Jennings and Rita (Stebbins) Jennings.

On May 13, 1992, Ritamay married her beloved husband, Robert Clampit Sr., with whom she shared many treasured years. She is also lovingly survived by her daughter, Rowena DeLuca of Chesapeake, Virginia; her sister, Catherine Cook; and a host of family and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Rita (Stebbins) Jennings, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gardner Robert Jennings and John William Jennings.

Ritamay will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Her kindness, love and presence touched the lives of those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

In keeping with the wishes of her family, the celebration of life will be held privately.
