'Robert Daniel -Dan- Kidd, age 82 was born in Tippa Canoe, Indiana January 3, 1929 the son of the late Carl and Emma Bell Kidd. He departed this life suddenly, Friday, October 7th at his home in the Kidds Crossing community of Wayne County.

One January 3, 1953 he united in marriage with his surviving wife of 58 years, Josephine Spradlin Kidd.

To this union two sons survive: Roger and his wife Linda Kidd and Bro. Douglas and wife Katherine Kidd. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Angel Deanna Kidd; Bradley Dale Kidd and Nicholas Isaac Kidd; his siblings: Andy; Dennis; Donald; Lee and Billy Kidd.

He is preceded in death by his siblings: Marjorie Vaughn; Goldie Worley; Betty Davis and Ray Kidd.

Dan served his country with honor during the Korean War. As a young man he accepted Christ as his savior and became a member of the Bell Hill Baptist Church and was a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church at the time of his passing..
