Robert B. Peercy, better known as Bert, of Monticello, Kentucky was born July 10, 1942, and departed this life Sunday, December 4 ^th ,2022 reaching the age of 80 years. He was the husband of Eva Lowe Peercy and son of the late Essie Ray and Mary Alice Dishman Peercy.

Along with his wife Eva Peercy, he is survived by three daughters; Helen (Mitchell) Dalton, Susan (Jamie) Hancock, Martha (Joey) Neal, one son; Matthew Peercy all of Monticello. Ky, one sister; Eva Mae Buck of Jamestown, Tn, three brothers; Frank Piercy, Don Piercy, Dallas Piercy of Monticello, Ky, and two grandchildren; Lucas McGinnis and Kyle Hancock.

He is preceded in death by one sister; Ella Jane Piercy and one brother; Mack Peercy.

Robert had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher and song leader. He was also a carpenter having worked on many crews through the years and retiring from Stardust Cruisers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7th from 10AM until 1PM in the funeral home chapel with funeral services following at 1PM. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideons Memorial Bible Plan.
