Obituary
'Robert J. \u0027Bob\u0027 Stokes, age 82 was born in Akron, Ohio, August 28, 1930 the son of the late W.R. and Nina Catherine Barnett Stokes. He departed this life Wednesday morning, March 20th at the Clinton County Hospital in Albany.
On September 2, 1967 he united in marriage with his wife of 39 years, Lois Earlene Jones Stokes who passed away November 4, 2006.
He is survived by two daughters: Linda Beth and her husband Lyle Huff and Leslie Ellen Stokes Brinkman. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Jennifer Brinkman; Sarah Beth and husband Colby Guffey and Bobby Huff. His sister: Lois Ellen Armstrong precedes him in death
As a young man Mr. Stokes served his country with honor during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He retired from his business of 26 years, Stokes Services, Inc. (computer data processing company) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1995. He was a member of the Tuttles Chapel United Methodist Church.
