­­­­­­­­­­­­­Robert Lee Turner was born July 20, 1936, and departed for his heavenly home Thursday, August 29, 2024, reaching the age of 88 years. He was the Son of the late Pete Turner and Cora (Bell) Turner.

He is survived by his loving wife: Velma (Harris) Turner; Sons: Alan Turner and Jerry Turner; Brothers: Larry Turner and Roger Turner; Sisters: Norma Chegle and Diana Branscum, along with 4 grandchildren: Colter Turner, Alexa Turner, Emma Hutchinson and Emory Turner; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Pete and Cora Turner, he was preceded in death by his Son: Dale Turner; 3 brothers: Gary Turner, Kenneth Turner and Lawernce Turner. As well as 2 sisters: Joanne Shepherd-Wells and Janice Shepherd

Robert was a Veteran, having served 20 years in the United States Airforce. He was a caring Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A graveside services will be held Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10AM in Elk Spring Cemetery. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105
