'Romer Rednour, age 62 was born in the Barrier community of Wayne County, January 31, 1946 the son of the late Robert and Ada Bell Rednour. He lost his battle with cancer, Thursday, May 29th at the Emergency Room of the Wayne County Hospital.

On June 4th, 1983 he united in marriage with Twyla Matthews Rednour who survives. Surviving children are; Virginia Carrender of Somerset, Barbara Matthews, Anthony and Brandon Rednour all of Monticello.

Also surviving are six grandchildren; Clarissa, Joshua, Adam, Zackary, Ashley and Chandler and a great grandson, Trenton; His sister, Lily Swift and brothers, Homer and Golman Rednour with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Romer had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Little Community Baptist Church.
