Ronnie K. Sexton was born February 4, 1953, and departed this life Friday, August 23, 2024, reaching the age of 71 years. He was the son of the late Fred and Kathleen (Brown) Sexton.

He is survived by: his wife, Phyllis Sexton; two daughters, Shelly Sexton and Christie Denney; one son-in-law, Robert Denney; five grandchildren, Justin (Jennifer) Denney, Tasha Southwood (Brad), Dalton Southwood (Kresley), Shyanne Southwood, and Maddy (Will) Roberts; and eight great grandchildren, Kaitlyn West, Hannah Denney, Easton, Colson, Landree, and Oaklee Southwood, Waylon and Jersey Roberts. He is also survived by:  three brothers, Roger, Terry, and Gary Sexton; and one sister, Paula Sexton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Fred and Kathleen Sexton, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Gay Dobbs.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
