Obituary

'Reuben Luther -R.L.- Denney age 90 was born in the Brammer Hill community of Wayne County, December 12, 1917 the son of the late Marshal and Betty Emma Turpin Denney. He departed this life Saturday morning at the Golden Years Nursing Home after an extended illness.

He was united in marriage with his Opal New Denney who passed away February 24, 1992. To this union seven children survive; Jo Ann Denney, Loretta Denney, Mildred Ruth Taylor, Willard Glenn Denney, Wanda Marie Simpson, Eula Kay Morrow and Treasa Cook .

Also surviving are ___ Grandchildren, ___ great grandchildren; his sister, Carie Brosson with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Roxie Josie and Anna Lee Minor and brothers, Carmel, Bee, Harry and Virgil Denney.

R.L. provided for his family by working in the forest industry and farming. On October 9, 1929 he accepted Christ as his savior as a young man and was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church.

Monday January 28, 2008 from 5 to 9 PM at Funeral Home Chapel
