'Ruell D. Gregory was born December 2, 1927 the son of the late Wolford and Mamie Criswell Gregory. He passed away Wednesday January 29th, at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care unit in Somerset reaching an age of 86 years.

On December 15, 1945 he united in marriage with his wife of 68 years: Irene Gregory who survives. To this union four sons survive: Mike, Jerry, Gary and Stewart \u0027Tony\u0027 Gregory. The eldest son, Bill Gregory passed away in 1989.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Ruell was the last surviving member of the WL Gregory family. He was preceded in death by his siblings: an infant sister; Mary Landis Gregory, Janice Davenport, Sue Swail, Rondal Gregory and Joe Ellis Gregory.

As a young man Ruell accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Canadas Creek Baptist Church.
