Ruth Smith of Monticello, Kentucky was born September 24th,1942 and departed this life June 3 ^rd , 2022, reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Carlos and Eatha Southwood Patrick.

She is survived by three sons; James Smith, Guy Smith, and David Smith, two sisters; Kelda Bell and Zula Cantrell, one grandchild; Devin Smith, and one great grandchild: Scarlett Smith.

Along with her husband Raymond, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Nellie Adlaura Patrick, two sisters; Alene Holder and Valerie Scott, and six brothers; Guy Patrick, Forrest Denney Patrick, Carlos Mack Patrick, Denzil Patrick, Robbie Gene Patrick, and Jep Roger Patrick.

Ruth had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Living Faith Pentecostal Church.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9 ^th from 5PM until 8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10 ^th , at 10AM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parmley's Grove Church Cemetery.
