'Ruth Evelyn Holland Tharp was born in Bee Springs, Kentucky, August 12, 1933 the daughter of the late Dewey and Nancy Music Holland. She departed this life Saturday, December 1st at the Wayne County Hospital reaching an age of 85 years.
She is survived by her daughters: Susan and her husband Tony Lococo and Carol and Husband George Coffey; grandchildren: Bobbie, Yardley, Adrienne (Jaime), Adam (Kayla), Andrew and Alizabeth; great grandchildren: Joseph, Parker, Xavier and Kaiven is on the way. Also surviving are her siblings: Terry and Jackie.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Tharp II and her son William Michael Tharp and brother, Ray.
Ruth was retired from an administration position at Fairdale High School, and a clerk at Audubon Hospital in Louisville. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was an avid UK Basketball and Golden State Warriors Fan.',
