Ruth Ann Tucker was born November 12, 1944, and departed this life Saturday, August 22, 2026, reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of Arthur and Altha Alice Brooks.

She is survived by: one son, Steve Tucker; three daughters, Karen Mages, Pam Morris, and Debbie Hardwick; grandchildren, Jill Johnson, Crystal Brock, Daniel Johnson, Levi Hardwick, Brittany Tucker, and Brianne Doyle; and great grandchildren, Dylan Helton, Audri Helton, Bella Richards, Serenity Richards, Jeffrey Hardwick, Bradley Hardwick, Steven Tucker, Rhett Perkins, Ryan Perkins, Brynlee Doyle, Briar Doyle, Maitlynn Doyle, Landry Tucker, Sonny Hardwick, Everleigh Hardwick, Aaron Hardwick, and Marlee Hardwick; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Clyde Tucker; one son, Brad Tucker; brothers, Joe Brooks and Lynville Brooks; and two sisters, Glenna Bruce and Janey Davis.

Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, between 11 am – 1 pm at Hickey Funeral Home.

A private burial will be held at a later date at Elk Spring Cemetery.
