'Sadie Christine Barnett Taylor, age 77 was born in the Meadow Creek community, August 25th, 1930 the daughter of the late Shelby and Evalee Hutchison Taylor. She departed this life, Wednesday morning at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

On December 29, 1951 she united in marriage with Oley L. Taylor who passed away August 7th, 1999. To this union five children survive; Wayne Taylor of Nicholasville, Irene Pierce of Oxford, Ohio, Frances Watson, Gene Taylor and Michelle Henderson all of Monticello.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, seven siblings, Pauline Tweedy and Barton Barnett both of Indianapolis, IN, George Kenneth Barnett and Maude Daws both of Monticello, Floyd Barnett of Clearwater, Florida, James Alfred Barnett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Margaret Isbell of Burnside.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Shelby Barnett Jr and a sister, Virginia Barnett.

Mrs. Taylor had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a member of the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
