Scott Denzil Corder was born May 2, 1937, and departed this life Thursday, December 30, 2021, reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Scott Freeman and Etta (Anderson) Corder.

He is survived by his son, Sherwin "Bubby" (Shannon) Corder; 3 grandchildren, Shawnda (Mike) Corder-Partin, Aaron (Stephanie) Corder & Colby Corder; 5 great-grandchildren, Chloe & Carlee Partin and Gracie, Briar & Gemma Corder; 2 brothers, George & Gary Corder; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Bradley) Corder; and 4 brothers, Gene, Jack, Joe, and Troy Corder.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, between 11 am and 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Roger's Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Soldiers for the Cross Mission.
