­­­­­­­­­Scott Jones was born February 14, 1955, and departed for his heavenly home, Wednesday, January 1, 2025, reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Freddie Jones and Virgina (Walker) Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Jones; Son: Jacob Scott Jones (Kendra); Brothers: Marty Jones (Vicky) and Mark Jones (Sandra); Sisters: Sherry Jones and Susan Dobbs (Johnathan); Grandchildren: Haley Shea Jones, Brevin Lucas Jones and Riley Morgan Jones, along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Freddie and Viginia, he was preceded in death by his brother Bennie Jones and sister Freda Baker.

Scott was saved at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hobert Roberts Cemetery in McCreary County.
