Obituary
'Sharlene Lenore Sloan was born in Monticello, April 11, 1962, the daughter of the late Russell Hunter and Elizabeth Hutchinson Cowan who survives. She departed this life suddenly Sunday morning, December 2nd, 2007 at her home in the Frazer community.
In 1980 she united in marriage with John Woodrow Sloan, who survives. To this 27 year union one son survives; John Coty Sloan both of the Frazer community of Wayne County.
Also surviving is one sister Tracy Hunter of Louisville and three brothers, Leroy Hunter and Ed Russell Hunter both of Monticello and Gary Hunter of Burnside.
She is preceded in death by her father, her brother, Harold Hunter and sister Gwendolyn Hunter.
Sharlene was a life long and faithful member of the Mt Zion AME Church, a devoted wife and mother.
