'Skyla Gail Wallen, age 50, of Nancy KY, gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord at her residence around her family and friends on Tuesday afternoon March 6, 2018, following an extended illness.
Skyla was born May 25, 1967 in Monticello, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Coy and Fay Bridgeman Wallen who survives. Skyla is also survived by her special companion Jeff Denny, she was the caretaker of grandsons (J Bird) Jaylyn Hampton and Daniel Moralis. Also surviving are; older brother Kenneth Gary Wallen and younger brother Marty Lynn Wallen, Grandmother Martha Bridgman Lewis, Stepdaughter Amanda Denny, Aunts Laurie Bridgeman, Judy Guffey, and Barbara Upchurch all of Monticello, Kentucky as well as Faye Piercy of Louisville, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins along with a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by grandparents Floyd and Pauline Wallen, Buck Bridgeman, Clyde Lewis, Uncles; Donnie Bridgeman and Bill Upchurch of Monticello.
Skyla enjoyed being around family and friends, outdoors and being with her animals. She was a very outgoing person to help anyone and while working at Lifeline enjoyed taking care of her patients.',
