'Susie Opal Sexton, age 67 was born in Wayne County, September 1, 1942 the daughter of the late Dewey and Elzia Kidd Sexton. She departed this life, Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife Vicki Gregory of Monticello. Her son Richard Gregory passed away in March of 2006.Also surviving are five grandchildren; Matthew, Samantha, Michael, Angela and Jacob Gregory; four great grandchildren; her sisters, Zadie Samuels and Sue Bullock and brothers, Carl Sexton and Ozie Phillips. Her brother, Raymond Sexton precedes her in death.Opal had accepted Christ as her savior as a young lady and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
